SeaLi2Bio team in action during the United Nation Ocean Conference UNOC3 in Nice
Our teams prepared stands, posters and experiences for the Sciences sur Mer Festival organised in Villefranche by IMEV, We participated to round table and debates on health and contaminants, to seminar for a large public, side events organization for CNRS and international institutes.
Sampling estuarian and river waters with high school students from Grasse (Lycée Fenelon) – visit of SeaLi2Bio labs and measurements of lithium concentration – Results presented to large public during the UNOC at the beautiful auditorium of Villefranche !
Citizen Participative Sciences
« Mare Nostrum » colloque organized by Alumni of Lycée Massena (high school) in Nice.
Visit of high school students at our Institute, and presentation of the SeaLi2Bio thematics (among other topics of interest) to 11 classes of 30 students each in simultaneous mode (remote and live)
2024
CNRS website for the « year of the geosciences», portraits of female geoscientists
2025 is the "year of the sea" in France as well as the "year of geosciences". In their website, several female geoscientists are presented, including the SeaLi2Bio PI, as well as their research thematics
Presentation of the SeaLi2Bio team and methods to a large public at the Science Festival on the ocean
« Sciences sur Mer, an ocean of knowledge » in the beautiful Citadelle of Villefranche sur Mer 600 scholars and more than 900 visitors ! A great success for IMEV and its mediation team who organized the event
